Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron

Released: October 2, 2015

Running Time: 141 minutes

Marvel Studios unleashes the next global phenomenon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — MARVEL’S AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. Good intentions wreak havoc when Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) unwittingly creates Ultron (James Spader), a terrifying A.I. monster who vows to achieve “world peace” via mass extinction. Now Iron Man, Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) — alongside Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) — must reassemble to defeat Ultron and save mankind…if they can! This action-packed adventure is a mind-blowing blast!

So I admit I am not a huge superhero fan but I do like Marvel Studios movies. The action in the movies is…intoxicating. It is just mesmorizing to watch all the action going on and in the new Marvel’s Avengers movie it is amazing to watch how the wrap everything together. This new movie Age of Ultron introduces some new characters as well as goes into more depth on the current Avengers. There really is so much packed in the movie that I feel like I could watch it a few times and still discover something I missed.

Now I will say you don’t have to be a huge superhero fan not do you have to have seen the first Marvel’s Avengers movie. I honestly couldn’t remember the fist movie and I didn’t feel totally lost. It will definitely help to know the entire story but they do a great job of keeping viewers aware of what’s going on and why. I love how they spin all the characters together to tell multiple stories.

Age of Ultron is the story of saving a powerful weapon from getting in the wrong hands. Iron Man actually creates a bad guy, Ultron, on accident, who is a artifical intelligence robot monster who wants to blow up the world. Obviously the Avengers are not going to have any of that so they work together to fight the bad guy. I watched this movie with my boys, 7 and 8, and they loved the action and how there were so many awesome superheros in one movie. The movie is rated PG-13 and has nothing really inappropriate that I remember from it.
