I partnered with Mentholatum for this sponsored post in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
Way before today’s ailments were treated with an aisle of various medicines, old healing ingredients were used. Home remedies were effective back then but somehow so many have forgotten about their healing powers. Well Mentholatum is a company that believes in the healing power of 100% natural active ingredients. They started out over 125 years ago with their original Mentholatum Ointment which is still a trusted household remedy in medicine cabinets all around the world. After years of research and experimentation, the company created the ointment with a combination of menthol and petrolatum plus essential oils.
Mentholatum products are for the whole family – from 2 year olds to mom and dad. All the products use 100% natural active ingredients.
I received Mentholatum Nighttime Vaporizing Rub to check out. While we haven’t had an illness lately for me to try it out on, I can already say I am going to like it. The soothing lavender essence helps the overpowering menthol smell (which I know not everyone likes.) It is a maximum strength formula that is designed to work fast – which as a mom I need all the help I can get for a speedy recovery. I love vaporizing rubs and how they work their magic while sleeping, well that is when my family usually uses them. Vaporizing rubs are a product my mom used on me when I was sick as a kid and I love that I can now use them on my kids but with 100% natural active ingredients. Plus with lavender being known to help people sleep, it only makes sense to include it in a vaporizing rub!
Mentholatum products can be found at stores like Walmart, Kroger, RiteAid, Safeway and more – check out the Mentholatum store list here. You can also find Mentholatum products on Amazon
