Being the oldest of our siblings and the first of our friends to own a house, we have been the go-to house for what seems like forever. I don’t mind really and at this point I have a routine of what to do before and after we have people over. Its funny – on normal days and weeks I do little things here and there but if we are having people over for a party of just watch sports, I turn into a robot. I know what works and what doesn’t in our house and I am used to getting it all done even last minute.

I have gotten used to just getting our house ready for game day every weekend. I clean Fridays and I always have appetizers on hand for last minute company.

Cheese and crackers? Check.

Beer and soda? Check.

Frozen appetizers from a bulk store that cook in 20 minutes or so? Check.

In addition to food though there are the products that get my house ready before and after. P&G home care products are like my secret weapon for not stressing out and pulling off our get togethers.

First there are Bounty Select-A-Size paper towels. What I love about these is that I can use either a small or normal size paper towel depending on the mess, plus the unique Trap & Lock Technology ensures it picks up the messes I need them to.

Febreze Air Effects cover up the sent of boys in my house (two sons and a husband) which they of course don’t notice but I do. From sweaty sports equipment to messes left around the house, Febreze makes it smell clean in my house even if it is not as clean as I’d like.

I leave it available for guests in the bathroom in case its needed:

Charmin Ultra Strong Mega Rolls make my bathroom seem a little more fancy, in my opinion. The plush two-ply toilet paper just feels so soft and I know my guests appreciate it. I admit to slipping out other rolls and making sure I have Charmin on when guests arrive.

Finally there are Tide PODS which are something I use afterwards to clean the tablecloth I used and usually my husband’s shirt which inevitably will get wing sauce on it. Tide PODS feature detergent, stain remover and a brightener all in one which means less work for me in the laundry room and more time entertaining guests or relaxing after company has left. I love too that I don’t have to inspect clothes for stains to apply stain remover since these PODS have it built in.

Stock up on your #GameDayTraditions products from P&G at your local Walmart.
