Teaching Good Oral Health Habits to Kids #MyBrightSmileApp #AppsForMoms #KidsApps

This is a sponsored post. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Colgate to many is just toothpaste but the brand behind it is actually committed to helping children build a lifetime of healthy habits. They believe in the Power of a Bright Smile which provides children with growing self-esteem and a foundation for success in life. I know for my family I stress everyday how important a smile is and why its important to take care of teeth.

To help get their point across to kids, Colgate has the Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® oral health education program and furthermore the award winning program has launched the educational app: “My Bright Smile.”

My Bright Smile is an app that includes five games to teach kids  ages 4-6 years old about their teeth and taking proper care of them. The games include “Visit the Dentist,” “Swipe the Sweets” and “Brush the Teeth.”  There is even a two-minute song that will help keep your kids brushing until every tooth is cleaned.

Recently my 4 year old was found to have seven cavities so we had the talk about how cavities get there and how to prevent them. My daughter does not want to get any more cavities filled so she has become a teeth brushing machine! This app came at the perfect time to teach my kids and they are excited to take care of their teeth.  Something about the information coming from an app rather than me just makes it more truthful, if that is the right word. The app is cute and perfect for young kids. Oh while the app was designed by Colgate, no personal information will be shared with them.

CHECK IT OUT: “My Bright Smile” is available for FREE on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

  • I love my bright smile app , in all to be able to smile as a kid is a great thing , have been in school where kids are slow , not confident etc and in the end you realize they are not fully confident how their teeth looks and in turn to avoid people

  • What a useful app and I can see how it would be very motivating in helping kiddos want to do a good job with their brushing skills.
