5 Ways I Keep Myself Going

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Folgers. All opinions are 100% mine.

Currently I am a ballet, swimming, soccer, hockey and cub scout mom. My schedule is pretty crazy and I am constantly running my kids here and there. I am not a morning person either so it doesn’t help when we have early morning activities. I have a few tricks on how I get myself going and keep myself going throughout the day.

Snacks.

I keep granola bars, sausage sticks, dried fruits and other snacks in a bag that I grab with me for the car. Between me and my kids, one of us is always in need of something to fuel us.

Preparation.

I try to do whatever I can the night before if we are heading out early especially or if we have a crazy day. I don’t want to forget anything so I try to pack things when I think of them.

Instant Coffee.

Yes Instant Coffee! Folgers instant coffee crystals are super easy to use and they work in just a minute! It is great to use them when I don’t have time to brew a whole pot. I also found some great Folgers Recipes for when I want to mix up my coffee.

Schedule. I check my schedule a few times a day to make sure I am on track and prepared for the next day and so forth. I also set alarms on my phone as reminders. My husband and I share the schedule so we both can see what is going on.

Friends and Family. I honestly couldn’t do a lot of what I do without friends and family. I have neighbors who watch one or two of my kids so I don’t have to drag them to their siblings events. I also have family who has helped out taking one kid to something when I have to take another one to something else. Just having one person to call and ask to watch one of my kids for an hour makes a huge difference!

How do you keep yourself going throughout crazy days?

  • I have to have my morning coffee,,its the one thing that I really enjoy in the mornings

  • Those are all great ideas! I also keep snacks in purse just in case someone is hungry. I'm lucky because I have 2 older kids that can watch the younger one if I have to take one of the kids somewhere. I write things down to keep track of my day, and also check on it often to make sure I'm keeping on track. I don't know how to set alarms on my phone, so I just use paper notes.
