Sensible Portions Garden Veggie Straws Chicago Event & Sweeps #SnackaliciousSweeps

This past weekend my family headed out to enjoy some fresh air in probably the last nice weekend before Chicago winter hits. We headed down to Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago to check out the Sensible Portions snacking station event. My family and I were excited because 1) Sensible Portions Veggie Straws 2) Trolls and 3) visiting Lincoln Park zoo for the first time in many years.

So what was the Sensible Portions Chicago Snacking Station Event all about?

To promote the upcoming movie Trolls, Sensible Portions has collaborated with DreamWorks Animation by featuring specially-marked DreamWorks’ Trolls packaging on select Garden Veggie Straws for a limited time. Sensible Portions Garden Veggie Straws and DreamWorks’ Trolls are really the perfect pair. Just like Sensible Portions Garden Veggie Straws help families fill their bellies with happy snacks, DreamWorks’ Trolls help families find their happy places!

At the Sensible Portions Chicago Snacking Station Event, bags of Sensible Portions Veggie Straws featuring Trolls were given out in all three flavors: Sea Salt, Zesty Ranch and Cheddar. Both old and new fans of Veggie Straws were able to sample the flavors while enjoying the zoo! My kids thought it was so cool to receive a bag of snacks to try out as we toured the zoo.

In addition to getting a bag of yummy Sensible Portions Veggie Straws, there was also a cool prop station where visitors could try on Trolls wigs and take a picture on a green screen. After the picture was taken, two Trolls friends magically appear in the photo!
