I partnered with this brand in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
Ever since my oldest was little, he has always been fascinated with farming equipment. From toys and books to ones on television and real life, he has always loved watching and playing with them.
Now that he is getting older though, he wants to drive them of course but as a 9 year old it is going to be awhile before he can do that! Well thanks to the Farming Simulator series of games he has become quite the little farmer. Last year we got the chance to check out Farming Simulator 15 and ever since he has been hooked. While he was still and not playing to the games full potential, he still had a blast.
Well just in time for the holidays a new Farming Simulator has come out, Farming Simulator 17.
Immerse yourself in a huge open world loaded with a yield of new content. Explore farming possibilities over hundreds of acres of land, including a detailed new North American environment. Drive over 250 authentic farming vehicles and equipment from more than 75 manufacturers, including huge new brands such as Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra.
Harvest many types of crops, including for the first time sunflowers and soy beans. Take care of your livestock – cows, sheep, chickens and now pigs – take part in forestry, and sell your products to expand your farm! Transport your goods with trucks and trailers, or load and drive trains to reach your destination. Grow your farm online with other players, and download community created mods across each platform for an ever-expanding Farming Simulator experience!
While we haven’t played the new Farming Simulator game yet because we only have Xbox360 right now, I know this is going to be a hit when we do upgrade to Xbox One. What makes the game series so awesome is the amazing animation as well as how there is so much packed in. You can participate in challenges or just explore. In Farming Simulator 15, my son was still young and didn’t get the challenges but now I feel he would be able to understand them – so yes this game is for all ages. It would even be fun for younger kids to watch someone else play. I will say it is just a one person game which is kinda a bummer, but luckily I only have one little farmer in the family. You can play multi-player if you have Xbox Live.
Farming Simulator 17 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
