Just in time for long holiday trips, Netflix recently announced that members can now download many of their favorite series and movies at no extra cost. This is something I never thought possible and is completely amazing that they are offering it! We travel so much for family and sports activities and wi-fi is not always available. Being able to download my kids favorite shows ahead of time is something that is going to be such a lifesaver. I mean my kids will die if they can’t watch their favorite Netflix shows while offline, right?!? I admit I am excited to catch up on my own shows while sitting at sports practices!

This has been a great change that is very useful for us. When I know I will be on the road with my daughters 4 & 6 I can download a movie for them to watch. I could usually just hand them my phone but they would be fighting over who got to hold it because the screen is not as big as the iPad. I love this feature

Being able to download from Netflix is a bonus! My parents don’t have WIFI so I need to remember to download before we go.

I have Direct TV. I think if I download their app that I will be able to download or stream some of their programs. This is cool! But I just wonder if kids would ever put down their machines after this!?
