Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is Back @Netflix #StreamTeam

I am currently a member of the Netflix Stream Team and this post is part of my involvement in the Group in exchange for receiving a product package.

Now that my kids are getting older, they are slowing starting to watch non-animated shows. Sure they still watch their cartoons and animated movies, but they also like more grown-up series shows as well.

While they are not ready for shows like The Walking Dead or American Horror Story, they do crave shows like are usually more adult. Well recently we started reading Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events as a family and we are hooked. Right now we are on book two right now and just watched the movie, but we cannot get enough of the series.

We must not be the only ones who love Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events because Netflix has just brought the show as an original series exclusively on Netflix. We are finishing up Trollhunters, which I highly recommend and next up in our family queue is Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Dear Viewer,

We regretfully present you with the official trailer, a word which here means a collection of the unhappy happenings surrounding the lives of the three Baudelaire orphans and one despicable Count Olaf.

For the sake of your mental well-being and overall enjoyment of your internet browsing experience, we recommend you search “cats playing instruments” immediately and spend the next 2 1/2 minutes watching a tabby in a t-shirt attempt to play a keyboard instead.

With all due respect,
Netflix

Based on the internationally best-selling series of books by Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler) and starring Emmy and Tony Award winner Neil Patrick Harris, A Series of Unfortunate Events recounts the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans — Violet, Klaus, and Sunny – whose evil guardian Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance. The siblings must outsmart Olaf at every turn, foiling his many devious plans and disguises, in order to discover clues to their parents’ mysterious death. The eight-episode series is a Netflix original production, executive produced by Emmy Award winner Barry Sonnenfeld and Daniel Handler. A Series of Unfortunate Events is now Streaming on Netflix. Proceed with caution for tragedy is sure to come.

I am so excited for this new show and love how Netflix just keeps coming out with hit after hit! Oh and if Count Olaf looks familiar, it is none other than Neil Patrick Harris!
