January has been a crazy month for my family. Right after we started to wind down from Christmas, we had our schedules fill up overnight. From hockey and soccer to starting back up to my oldest son turning 10 (double digits already, how can that be?) I feel like we haven’t had a free minute. Oh and then we have a family vacation and a quick getaway for my husband and I that I have to plan and pack for still!
Well one store that is my go-to for whatever the occasion is Gordmans. While the store is about 30 minutes from me, it is well worth the drive as I always find such great deals and exactly what I was looking for (and of course some stuff I didn’t realize I needed.)
I had planned on picking up some vacation attire for my family and some containers to get organized but I got caught up picking random things that called out to me.
Like this awesome decorative tree! I have been looking for something for my front foyer and when I saw this I knew it was meant to be.
With two boys we have practically every Nerf gun available so far but I saw these two toys and they were unlike our other toys! Plus they were discounted an additional 50% because they were considered Christmas gifts! I am putting these aside for either Easter or my other son’s birthday. Notice the regular price too? I love that Gordmans passes savings onto us consumers and that was before they discounted them even more!
Oh and I was able to pickup a few pieces for our upcoming vacation for me. I love that I didn’t have to break the bank to buy clothes for me. Usually I shop for my family and whatever is left in the budget goes to me but with Gordmans I am able to stretch our money even further.
I spent just over $60 and feel like I came home with way more than that. Well actually I did as my receipt said I saved over $100! Not bad for popping in for a few things and being able to cover a few occasions – kid presents, clothes for vacation and some home decor I have been searching for!

We don't have a Gordman's in my area but those are some great deals, I love the chairs, and the garden gnomes they are adorable.
We have a Gordman's in town, only here a couple years, but I forget to pop in and check the sales out. We did try on Black Friday but the line was hours long so we didn't stay.
I have never heard of these stores and we don't have one where I live. Looks like a great place to shop!
