What does your bedroom say about your personality? Well, perhaps more than you might think. Just think about the different elements of your bedroom, the furniture, the decorations, the color scheme, the layout to name but a few. Research has shown that your choices can be reflective of your wider personality. Some of these are elements are more explicit than others, for example, which books you choose are an obvious indicator of your taste in literature, where as the color of the curtains is much more subtle.

In addition to this, some personality traits that emanate from your bedroom style are in fact entirely logical when you think about them. For example, someone who is hyper-organized in their own personal and professional life is unlikely to live in a disorganized mess of a bedroom as it would not chime with how they lived the rest of their life. Equally someone who was inherently disorganized would perhaps not expect to live in a minimalist, pristinely tidy bedroom where all the books are in alphabetical order.
