Getting Rid of Weeds Thanks to the Craftsman Gas Powered WeedWacker

I partnered with this brand in exchange for product/compensation to share my honest opinion.

Last year we had to replace our lawnmower and I remember my husband laughing at me when I said “How different can lawnmowers really be?” I had no idea all the different features they had and what a good one would be.

Well the same thing goes for weedwackers which is something we needed to replace this year. Ours was old, so old I can’t even remember when or where we got it from. It had this bulky white string that my husband always struggled with and it was not as powerful as he would have liked. I remember him having to keep at certain spots because the string didn’t cut it the first time.

Then I got the Craftsman 27cc 2 Cycle Gas Powered WeedWacker to check out and it blew us away. It is way more powerful than we are used to which means the job gets down on the first try.

Features of the Craftsman 27cc 2 Cycle Gas Powered WeedWacker:

  • Super easy set up right out of the box and it was ready to go in minutes
  • Craftsman Quiet Technology engine which means it runs quieter than other trimmers (around 20% quieter) – it is still loud but I did feel it was quieter plus since it was getting the job done right the first time my husband didn’t have to keep wacking.
  • Exclusive 2-in-1 Hassle Free Max Cutting Head uses a fixed line head and easy to load string system – my husband did have to watch the video to figure out how to load the string but once he saw it he couldn’t believe how easy it was. You just push the string in while its on the Load setting

  • 360-degree rotating handle allows it to work in spaces that may otherwise be hard to get to
  • Multi-Yard Tool Attachment System means you can buy attachments to convert it to a pole-saw, edger, hedge-trimmer, blower, cultivator and more! This is pretty neat because it is so much cheaper to buy attachments rather than a bunch of separate tools plus you get the power of this Craftsman motor
  • Somewhat heavy so it does take a little getting used to
  • Comes with extra string which was nice because my husband did break a string already
  • Runs off gas which is nice because there are no cords to worry about plugging in
  • Comes with oil which you use to create the gas/oil cycle mixture

Overall, my husband is happy with this new Craftsman weedwacker. His favorite feature is how powerful it is. Craftsman brand is also a brand we have always trusted and this product did not disappoint.

Check out the Craftsman 27cc 2 Cycle Gas Powered WeedWacker at your local Sears store or Sears website.
