Share a Haircut in Your Community By Getting a Haircut #ShareaHaircut #HCBeautyofGiving

I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

The other day I took my daughter to get a haircut to prepare for back to school. Next week my husband will take our two boys for their haircuts. A haircut is something that we do whenever we need it, usually without a second thought. It is one of those things that is so easily taken for granted.

The truth though is that not everyone can afford a haircut. Families who have limited income should not have to choose between groceries or haircuts for the family. Haircuts can really add up too for families. For my family of five it can cost upwards of $75.

Well just in time for back to school, Hair Cuttery has come out with their 18th anniversary of the Share-A-Haircut program. To date, the Share-A-Haircut program has reached more than 2.16 million people with haircut donations valued at $35 million.

What is the Share-A-Haircut program?

The Share-A-Haircut program was created by Hair Cuttery to give free haircuts to underprivileged community members, specifically kids as they head back-to-school. The program now has been expanded to touch people of all ages, since moms and dads need help too!

From August 1-15, for every child haircut purchase up to age 18 years old, one free haircut certificate will be donated to an underprivileged child in that same community. Those certificates are then distributed to local government and non-profit organizations tied to each community.

Hair Cuttery hopes each year to reach more and more community members. Every child should start the school year with as much excitement and confidence as they can. In my own experience, a haircut makes me feel confident and my best self, I know as a mother I want that for my own kids.

Get a haircut at Hair Cuttery and share one!

While you are taking your own kids for haircuts this month, head to Hair Cuttery to not only make your own child shine but also another one!
