Book Review

Creating a Printed Photo Book From Your Phone

I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

When my oldest was born, I remember going out and buying a super expensive digital camera because I wanted the best camera to capture our memories. In those ten years, digital cameras have vastly improved but so have smartphone cameras. I don’t even remember if my cell phone back then even had a camera and if it did, the quality was certainly not good enough for good pictures.

Flash forward to today and I rarely use my digital camera. I take 90% of my photos on my phone and love that they get backed up right away to the cloud. My problem though is I don’t do anything with those photos then!

TreeRing Memories is a company that allows you to not only organize all your family photos but then create a beautiful book!

Users can add photos from their phone’s album or choose from hundreds of milestone prompts and questions. The prompts and questions are great reminders for first steps, food favorites or other firsts. I know I have always had good intentions to write down firsts or favorites but never do.

TreeRing does the hard work too of automatically grouping photos by your child’s age and putting them into books.

Does grandma or auntie have photos that you want to include? TreeRing Memories makes it easy for families to share photos or just follow along on your child’s growth.

Once a user adds at least 20 favorite photos, they just have to choose from three different book types and designs. Then click print!

What do I love about TreeRing Memories?

It makes it so easy to make a baby book even if you are years late! Here, for example, I started adding photos from Facebook and our iPad. It automatically arranged them in what year baby book it would be in. All I did was select the pictures and the app figured the year and put it in that album! I honestly have mini photo albums (actual printed photos) for my oldest for 0-12 months and that is it! No other albums for him or our other kids.

I was able to fill a bunch of albums in about 30 minutes! I just need to decide now which size album I want now and click to order.

Really TreeRing Memories takes away any excuses for making a baby book no matter your child’s age. I know for me, now that my kids are older, I have more free time (and sanity) for even working on baby books!
