My kids love mazes and are always drawing them out for us to solve. Building physical mazes were never something we thought of having them try. Really though it is something genius to build physical mazes to solve! Thanks to Maze-O, my family has been solving actual mazes and challenging ourselves to build new ones!

Maze-O is a set that is for kids to create working mazes with physical plastic pieces. The pieces come in fun classic colors and various varieties of pieces to create actual mazes. There are pieces with ends and walls to follow as well as a start/finish! My kids think it is so funny to create mazes that they think will stump us. I admit too I have had a few mishaps trying to flow through the mazes.

If your child needs some inspiration or wants to challenge themselves, there are cards to create 30+ mazes starting with Beginner and getting more challenging. The cards are fun too with creating various images like animals or tall towers!

The plastic pieces are easy for little hands to manage as they don’t require hard snapping or clicking. The pieces lay together rather than sticking in place together, so yes they can be moved easily but we didn’t have any problems.

Overall, honestly, Maze-O is a fun set for young kids. You get a total of 54 pieces in the starter set which is plenty to start with. I think my boys especially would have loved this set to create the maze and then zoom through with their cars and little robot bugs. Little hands though are pretty fun to walk through. The box is great to store the pieces back in which is nice.
