Although you can find PEEPS year-round, they are usually considered an Easter candy. For my family, it is not Easter without those silly marshmallow bunnies and chicks. Even my husband who is not a fan, asks where the PEEPS are because it is just tradition here.
Today PEEPS can be found in so many different colors and even flavors, it can be hard to choose from. Yes it is possible for them to taste different too, which I was surprised with. Since all three of my kids eat PEEPS, I usually just put a bunch of PEEPS around their baskets and they pick and choose their favorites. One year I even gave a PEEP filled basket to my daughter, who was beyond thrilled!
Looking for some easy basket stuffers or quick treats? PEEPS come in all sizes and they are usually relatively inexpensive. They are also free of most allergens, which means even my food allergy ridden son can eat them!
Another great candy brand manufactured by the same family company as PEEPS are Mike and Ike candies. There are perfect for sweet tooths and I love them for putting in Easter eggs for my kids to find!
