So while I am not a huge Marvel fan, I did enjoy this action-packed movie. It is not that I don’t like Marvel movies, I usually just don’t go out of my way to see them. My boys love Thor so I gave this movie a try. Without knowing much about Thor or the other characters, I did not feel too lost and was able to pick up what was going on. I was shocked to see Thor without his hammer but love that he had to work without it – I always try to tell my kids to not rely on one strength and that they need to broaden their horizons. I do love that there is a female villain which is not usually the case – Cate Blanchett is the villain which is amazing!

The action is crazy in this movie and so amazing how they create everything. I could not believe some of the backgrounds and stunts but Marvel pulled them off. The characters all come together and work perfectly together. I love how they brought in other Marvel characters, including Doctor Strange who is my personal favorite. There is a lot going on in this movie and I have watched it twice so far picking up on new things the second time around, so definitely a movie to watch again.
