PLAYMOBIL has been a classic brand for my kids and it is a brand that will continue to entertain kids. The pieces are durable, intricately designed and there are so many different sets to choose from. One of the newest sets to come out is the PLAYMOBIL Ski Lodge Building Set.

The PLAYMOBIL Ski Lodge Building Set comes with 146 pieces for kids to build and play with a ski lodge. The lodge is pretty easily built and held together and the rest of the pieces are accessories to play with. You actually five figures to interact with, which is nice because usually sets only come with two figures.

You do not need any other PLAYMOBIL sets or pieces to have fun with this one as it really is a nice whole set. For a PLAYMOBIL fan though this would be great to add to the collection. My daughter has been playing with this set on her own and with friends, and it is always a fun time. I have even seen my 9 year old on the floor with her playing with this set, so it really can entertain a wide range of ages. She loves all the different pieces and that it wasn’t hard to build. At 6 years old, she was able to do everything on her own, which is great for kids to learn independence and confidence.

Now I will say that this set is on the pricier side but you do get what you pay for. The set is one that will last for years, as long as you don’t loose the small pieces. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that I wish there was a way to store the pieces rather than the huge box it came in. I did buy a plastic container to keep it together but it would have been nice for some other type of storage to be included even if it was just for the smaller pieces.
