The child has to be encouraged to explore and to make discoveries and, they have to be invited to share their experiences. The parent has the responsibility to manage this vital process, and they should not leave the development of their children to teachers or to the technology to which the child may expose on a daily basis. Preferably the parent should be actively involved in the development of their children, and they should ensure that the child will be able to reach their full potential in life. The parent should always be the primary educator in the lives of their children. One of the essential elements of modern education is the ability to communicate with words and especially written communications. The older they become, the more will they be expected to write, and this demand on the individual student will reach its highest levels in college and university. Their writing skills will test in many ways such as with term papers, with numerous essays and also research papers and also desertions. How to proceed

With most things in life people become better the more they practice, and this also applies to essay writing. Research has shown that the more a person practices essay writing, the better they become and over time they can become competent writers. The only way in which to improve the essay writing skills of your child is to motivate the child to practice a lot. Make sure that the topic is something which will be of interest to your child. You may select an item which covers some of the things which were learned at school that day. They may have learned about animals, or the human body or the solar system and each of these are excellent topics for an essay. Tomorrows do something else and let your child research one of the seven continents, and then they can proceed to write an article on that topic.

Find examples online

Essays or an apa research paper follow a specific structure, and they usually have five parts such as an introduction, followed by three paragraphs which are referred to as a conclusion will support the body of the essay and this. At school level and especially in the lower grades a teacher may take time to explain the different parts of an article, but this may not always be the case, and this can leave students to fend for them and then it can be helpful when parents can assist them. Plan properly

It is essential for an essay to be well organized and logical and therefore it is not sufficient to provide your child with a topic without coaching him on how to use collected information correctly because this will not result in a satisfactory essay for which top marks will give. It is why it is essential to teach the child have to plan and how to structure the essay logically and coherently. There are many websites online that will show you and your child how to brainstorm and plan effectively. Some children may not be competent computer users, and therefore the parent will have to assist them in this regard. One the necessary information has collected it has become time to plan the essay and to ensure that the article has the correct structure. It may be useful to write down a few ideas to use as guidelines for each paragraph because this can help the writer to stay on track during the process.

Encourage the use of technology

Your child is growing up in a different time compared to you, and this is the age of technological advancement and therefore encourage the use of technology because when correctly used it can help your child to progress quicker in specific areas such as essay writing.

Using technology could inspire the child to be more creative, and there are many excellent applications which can help the child to write appropriately because of text editing functions and other helpful features. Using these applications can make article writing more comfortable for your child, and they may reach levels of competency which may have been unattainable to them without technology.
