Living in Chicago means a cold winter usually with snow. Every year we say we are going to go somewhere but we never do. I am all about beaches and warm weather during the winter but my kids have been begging to go skiing because they have not tried that yet. Since it is too late this year to plan anything, I am starting my list for next year on potential vacation destinations as well as some other trips for throughout the year.
The saying “You only have 18 years with your child” always pops into my head. Actually you don’t even get a full 18 years because in the beginning they are too young to understand and then as then once they turn 16 years old they have a job and harder classes at school to worry about. I want to do as much as I can with my family while we are all under one roof!
One of our favorite vacations was a cruise but I have been thinking about an all-inclusive resort so we can enjoy more beach time. While I love being on a cruise, it can be a little jam-packed with activities, getting on and off the boat and I always feel rushed. A beach resort sounds so relaxing and all-inclusive means I wouldn’t have to worry about meals or planning activities. An all-inclusive resort is awesome too because it means, for the most part, your trip is budgeted.
Did you know that a Beaches Luxury Included® vacation includes more of everything for everyone, from every land and water sport under the sun, to anytime gourmet dining at up to 21 specialty restaurants, activities and amenities for all ages, and luxurious family-friendly suites?

When I was reading your review, I thought that I could have written this!! I live in Chicago and I guess you know the rest of the story! I have always wanted to leave Chicago, but because of my family, I just couldn’t. We tried to go away every other winter to get out of this cold, but we couldn’t afford it every winter. Beaches, warm weather, the sun, and shorts - plus making lifelong memories with my family! Sometimes things came up and I feel bad and that’s not the kind of memory I wanted to make with them! We certainly want to forget 2020 and this second wave!! My friend travels Beaches vacations. They love it! I pinned this poster of information. Thank you for sharing!
Love the ideas.
Lets pretend that there is NO 2020 ................. the world is as we knew it in 2019 love love christams vacations and you have so many great ideals here. Winter vacation sounds good but I don't like to go out in the snow but love to watch it out the windows and sit in front of the fire place. The beach sounds so wonderful
