6 Quick Ways To Clean Your Car

Everyone once in a white your car is going to need a good old scrub. When you are taking kids from school, to the park, or between all the extracurricular classes – it can be like crumb city. So, here are some quick tips for people who want a clean car but are tight on time.

Smell

Every care will have a particular smell. The people who spend the most time in there tend to dictate what that will be. But if you are ferrying the dog, burgers, snacks, old shoes and so on around with you each day. The first thing you need to do is de-stink the interior. Of course, you need to clean up there, but using an excellent car air freshener will do wonders and very quickly. If you can, leave the doors open on the car for a while to air it out better.

Windows

Give all of the windows a really good scrub. Use white vinegar and water – in equal parts, and a clean cloth. Wind down the windows slightly, and you are light to see about an inch of glass that really needs a clean. The vinegar will help neutralize any smells, and your windows will come up gleaming. If you don’t like the idea of vinegar, then some good old Windex will do the job. When you are cleaning the windows, please pay attention to the windshield, you might find it is time to call Advanced Glass Systems because you’ve been driving around with a chip and not noticed.

Washing

The absolute best way to maximize the washing process is to rinse the car down before you start scrubbing. You might be surprised to see just how much dirt and grim gets blasted away before you even get started on the soap and sponge. A clear water rinse will make it much quicker.

Air Vents

If you have ever set for ages trying to hoover the dust from the slats in the air vent, only to get nowhere fast, then this tip is for you. Get a cheap, kids paintbrush (a clean one), the type with long soft bristles. And simpled use the little brush bit to wipe away any dust that has settled on the slats. You can keep the dust away from a little longer by giving a little spray of furniture polish on the bristles before getting to work.

Wrong Soap

People are still keen on using dish soap to clean their cars. However, dishwashing liquid is too harsh to be used on the paint of your vehicle. Car wash soaps can have a range of ingredients like oils to help keep your vehicle looking newer for longer.

Wax

If you want to make your car gleam in seconds, then use a synthetic wax to give an almost mirror-like finish in no time at all. Apply the wax to a foam applicator, and buff into the car in swirling motions. Wipe off the ‘haze’ with a high-quality microfiber towel.
