With allergy season upon us once again, it’s easy to get frustrated by a family full of stuffy noses and itchy eyes. If allergies are severe enough, they could even escalate to symptoms that are severe enough to require more serious medical treatment.
While your first instinct might be to limit outdoor exposure and find family-friendly indoor activities, you may be surprised to learn that allergies can be just as present in our homes as they are outside of them. Dust mites, mold and pet dander are just a few allergens that can build up in the nooks and crannies.
We can all agree that a clean home is a happy home — but when it comes to allergies, you may want to consider targeting your cleaning efforts to those areas that are particularly prone to allergen buildup. By focusing on these areas, you’re allergy-proofing your home and keeping your whole family healthier.
Cleaning doesn’t have to be a chore, either. Get the kids involved with printable games like “Battle of the Bedrooms” and “Cleaning Detective.” For the grownups, consider keeping an allergy log of your symptoms so you know if and when it’s time to seek treatment.

I like the worksheet. So many great tips on cleaning!
I pinned this and downloaded The Allergy Cleaning List. I try to keep all these rooms clean. I have more time now with the pandemic and all. I also air out my home. I still got a sinus infection and had to be put on antibiotics. I know it has something to do with my comprised immune system. I am constantly on people to throw away their tissues and not leave them laying around! This is another sure way to spread germs. Also wash their hands before and after cleaning and more. This is a great review! Thank you for sharing the printables. They help!
Great printables. I have allergies so this is a helpful post!
