If you happen to over-pack and end up being stuck because you are over your limit, then you will really be dampening your vacation spirit. If you are going to be traveling for a longer period of time then it’s helpful to get some jobs done around the house before you go. If you have a leaking tap then this can do a lot of damage while you are away, so make sure that you get this sorted out. Blocked drains can also cause a foul smell if they are left untreated. Other jobs include clearing out any old food, so it doesn’t go off while you are away for the week.
