Creating a Razor Scooter Obstacle Course Challenge

I received product in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

My boys have loved scooters ever since they first rode one. I think they felt more grown-up on one and as they went from a four-wheeled scooter to a three-wheeled and then to a two-wheeled scooter, it was amazing to see how fast they could go.

Now with quarantine though my boys have gotten creative with playing outside and they have started making obstacles and challenges with various outside toys. Anything to pass the long days, right?!

One of their latest creations is an obstacle course for their Razor scooter. I love when they work together and come up with anything outside of video games. No batteries or electricity, just kid-powered fun.

So what is the first step in creating a Razor obstacle challenge?

First, have your kids get out their Razor scooter – we have the A5 DLX Scooter. If you don’t have one, then definitely pick up one and maybe get one for each child so they don’t have to share. They are very reasonably priced and the size makes them easy to store in the garage.

Once the scooter is ready to go. Draw up the obstacle course! Either have your kids draw it out on paper or with some chalk in the driveaway.

My boys spent a good amount of time just figuring out their obstacle challenge and then more time setting it up. Again more off-screen fun was had.

Since setting it up weeks ago, they have changed it up and added to it. There are points awarded now, different levels of challenges and more silliness added.

Other than the obstacle course, my boys use the scooter to zoom over to their friends house and have even taken it to the park for the trail. It is amazing to me how much fun this scooter has been for my family.

Thanks to the weight limit of 220lbs. even my husband and I were able to join in the fun. Actually the Razor A5 DLX Scooter is the king of commuter scooters due to its lightweight, quick-fold and easy-carry design. The 8” wheels gives a smooth ride which it definitely offers.

So next time your kids are whining that they are bored, suggest they create an obstacle course for their scooters! How could they turn down creating an obstacle course?!

Whatever your child’s age or your own, there is a Razor scooter available! My 12 and 13 year old son’s are loving the Razor A5 DLX.
