Car Review

Road Tripping in the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

I received this car for one week to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Years ago I reviewed the brand new Chrysler Pacifica and I got hooked. The following year I convinced my husband we needed one and it has been amazing for my family of five. I love seeing the changes they make to cars each year and for the Pacifica they added a Hybrid option and boy does it make a difference!

Basically the Hybrid option allows you to go much farther than just gas alone. The range was amazing for the week I drove around and it was so interesting to watch the changes with the Hybrid while driving.

Since summer is winding down we decided to do a few road-trips and see some giant sunflowers and some of the World’s Largest items in Casey, IL.

Our must-have for a roadtrip (next to snacks of course) is entertainment and the Pacifica does not disappoint. It features touch screens for kids to play games (they are pre-loaded for you) and watch movies on. There is even a remote so kids don’t have to lean forward to touch the screen!

Room for my stuff so I have everything on hand is important. On a roadtrip I need room up front for my purse and then throughout I need room for snacks and other stuff. There is plenty of room all over to utilize!

Easy access to my phone means I can easily answer and call my friends and family when I need to!

WiFi hotspot means my kids can play on their tablets and not drain all our data on their phones. It is funny how WiFi has been a must on a road trip but with three kids it does help keep everyone happy. You do have to pay extra for this feature.

Cameras literally all over the car means I can see whats going on all around me, so much safer and gives great peace of mind. Below shows one of the cameras in front.

Plenty of room for growing passengers and more stuff of course!

Different configurations of seats helped us store more stuff and have the cooler easily accessed. You can flip down the entire back row into the floor or choose to just do half.

Speaking of room, the trunk is deep and big when the seats are up so you get even more room!

What I love most is probably the ability to open and close the second-row passenger doors and trunk with the push of a button. No doors swinging open or kids not being able to open, I do it for them.

Lots of USB charging ports through out the car meant we could all plug in and charge without fights. Oh and the Blu-ray player is also up front which meant I put in the movie rather than my kids trying to jam it in.

Very intuitve dashboard that told me everything I needed while driving. I do wish I had more time to use and check out how the dashboard changed each week.

I had to share the shifter too, its a knob! No big shifter to get in the way and yes it takes a couple tries to get used to but then its something that it makes so much sense.

Such an amazing navigation screen that was easy to use and gave so much extra information such as upcoming gas stations and food stops -don’t worry my husband took this photo from the passenger seat.

Oh and if you want to charge the battery you can charge it at home with the included charger you just plug in to a regular outlet or you can find a charging station to use.
