I received products in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
Living in Chicagoland there is no lack of snow but I know that is not the case across the country. Also there is the problem that snow can be cold! Who would have thought there would be a company that would come out with a product where you can create snow at home?
Snow in Seconds is a company that makes instant snow that grows 100 times its size in just seconds with NO stirring, and will NOT turn into a gel like other brands. You add water to the material and you literally have snow in seconds!
What is great about Snow in Seconds is you can make as little or as lot as you want or need. We made a tray full and only used 1/2 cup of the powder, with a whole bunch still left.
The secret is Snow in Seconds™ super-absorbing tiny sponge-like properties. You can even reuse it and save for fun later. To reuse let snow dry completely and store in an airtight container. If it feels dried out just spritz it with some water. I feel like too if it gets old or yucky then we can just make some more!
The first day we made our Snow in Seconds my daughter and her friend played with it for hours and then she has played with it every day since. It is amazing how such a simple products can be so entertaining.
Worried about toxins? Snow in Seconds™ is non-toxic, safe for kids and animals. It is also safe to use outside without damaging plants or grass. It is also made right here in the United States.
Here is a video of my daughter creating Snow in Seconds and playing with it:
Want to make cloud slime?
There are a bunch of recipes that call for instant snow that this would be perfect in!
Here is a Cloud Slime recipe to try out:
- 2 2/3 cups White Glue
- 1/3 cups of Insta Snow
- 2/3 cups Activator (I use Sta Flo because it’s safer than Borax)
- 2/3 cups Water
- 2 cups Shaving Cream (optional)
- Food Coloring (optional)
Mix all ingredients together and start kneading with your hands.
