1. Find a workout plan that works for you.

Otherwise known as visceral fat, this waist weight is difficult to lose, and a weight loss plan alone usually doesn’t do the trick. Stomach fat is especially harmful as it can put you at risk for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and some cancers.

A good workout plan paired with a healthy meal plan can be your best bet at getting rid of those love handles. But there are some exercises that promote belly fat loss. Keep reading to find out some of the best exercises for achieving this goal.

Cardio workouts, like swimming, raise your heart rate and promote fat loss around the stomach area by increasing your calorie burn. An ideal cardio session should be about 45 minutes long, to ensure that the subcutaneous fat has enough time to burn. Burpees are also a great way to help you lose belly fat. This is because they involve working your abs, thighs, and arms simultaneously making them particularly helpful in increasing your heart rate.

Avoid loungewear that’s too frilly. Instead, keep the styles simple and opt for bamboo pajamas with a more traditional drawstring or elastic waistband. These classic styles are easier to wear and adjust, whereas frilly lace trimmings can be uncomfortable and interfere with rest.

3. Explore holistic approaches to relaxation.
