Instead, opt for something that’s built to last, even if it comes with a heftier price tag. The average sofa should last you for years, but a well-made, more expensive sofa can last for longer.

Small throw rugs are typically replaceable as they wear out or you decide to change your home aesthetic. Large rugs, however, are a much larger investment, so it’s important that you pay the price for quality materials, especially if you expect people to be walking on your rugs daily.
