App Review

Help Move Along Bedtime with Bedtime Stories Night Train

I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

While you may think that you don’t want your child on a tablet or phone before bed, there is now an app that may change your mind. Most apps today are bright, colorful, fun with sounds and actions but they may be too much for a child before bed. I mean no parent wants to wind their kid up before bed, we want the opposite to happen!

Well an app called Bedtime Stories – Night Train is an app specifically for helping your child go to bed smoothly. Kids will actually want to go to bed after playing this app which basically has your child putting characters to bed. Honestly after me just watching this app, I was ready for bed!

Take your child aboard the Night Train and tuck the tired Esmitos into bed! Visit a world where the sun never sets, meet dragons, unicorns, fairies, and more.

So why choose the Bedtime Stories – Night Train app?

Great calming bedtime routine for parents to do with their child. Kids will look forward to it and parents will know how long it will take to do.

Colors on the app are warmer and not overwhelmingly bright where it will wake up and excite kids. Your child’s eyes will also be protected from bright lights.

Parents read the story and there is even a font subtitle that supports common symptoms of dyslexia. You can also choose a narrator’s voice that is very soothing in either English or Swedish.

There is lullaby that is 8 minutes long and synchronizes with the train’s da-dum-dum sound. Perfect for winding down and soothing a child after a long day.

There are no ads or pop ups to distract kids. There are also no in-app purchases or wifi required which is nice if you don’t have wifi available at the time.

Kids basically explore a magical world while getting ready for bedtime and get to play with characters called Esmitos. When your children are ready they start tucking the Esmitos in their beds. They all have different rooms and beds and it is adorable tucking them in.

The app is geared towards ages 2 to 6 years old. Kids get the best of so many worlds as well – train, silly characters, music and more! I love how simple but effective the app is.

Help your child get ready for bed

You can find the Bedtime Stories Night Train on both the Google Play store and Apple store.
