5 Tourist-Friendly Destinations in the United States

There are so many incredible places to visit in the United States. You could travel every break you get and still not see half of it. But with all the sweeping sights and spectacular cities, it can be hard to narrow down your list. Depending on the type of person you are, certain destinations should definitely have a higher spot on your list. Whether you are traveling alone, with friends, or with family, there are endless places to visit. So if you’re trying to narrow your travel bucket list, make sure you include these 5 tourist-friendly destinations in the United States:

  1. Chicago, Illinois

Already been to New York City and Los Angeles and looking for another city to explore? Give Chicago a try. You won’t be disappointed. Between the iconic Chicago bean and the monumental Willis Tower, there is certainly not a dearth of things to do in the city. Grab a bite to eat and do some shopping at the Magnificent Mile, with countless restaurants and stores. Or watch a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. Chicago is a city that’s fun for friends and family alike!

  1. Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas might not be the city to go with your kids, but it’s definitely a place to go with friends. Whether or not you’re in gambling, the casinos, towering buildings, and bright lights will leave you in awe. Not to mention all the top-rated restaurants. Las Vegas is a city that thrives off of tourism, so it should for sure have a spot on your list. Check out a helicopter tour of the Las Vegas Strip to see it all from a bird’s eye view. How cool!

  1. San Diego, California

San Diego is the perfect city if you’re looking for a nice trip with your family, or a fun getaway with friends. You can see stunning beaches and the city skyline, all within a 20 minute drive! Go on a stroll through Balboa Park or take a look at the animals in the San Diego Zoo. The options are endless. You can also get cheap flights to San Diego from pretty much any major airport, so it’s a trip that won’t break the bank.

  1. New Orleans, Louisiana

If you’re a fan of jazz music and good energy, New Orleans is the place for you. New Orleans is a very popular tourist destination, and for good reason! Be sure to check out Bourbon Street, a historic street in the city that is the embodiment of a party town with iconic bars and a lively spirit. And don’t forget to eat beignets and see a live jazz performance, too.

  1. Honolulu, Hawaii

Looking for a tropical vacation but don’t want to leave the U.S.? Honolulu is the place for you. The beautiful mountains and beaches of the island will leave you absolutely speechless, not to mention the weather is perfect all year long. If you’re a fan of hiking, Hawaii is home to some of the most incredible hiking trails. Check out an Oahu hiking tour so you can experience all that the beautiful island has to offer.

There are so many breathtaking places to visit in the United States, it’s hard to narrow it down to just a few options. But this list is a pretty good start. If you’re into nature, Hawaii is the place for you. And if you’re looking for a place with more nightlife, check out New Orleans or Las Vegas. The options are truly endless, but these should definitely have a place at the top of your list.

  • Thanks for the tips for travelling to Las Vegas.
I always thought that I would have to spend a lot of money to go there.

I am not a fan of gambilng. I just love to hang out and take many pictures as I walk.

Love to try the helicopter, too but pretty sure it costs a fortune. Hahahah
