Handcrafted Wooden Nutcrackers

When I was younger one thing I always wanted was a Nutcracker. Strange as it is, I thought I nutcracker was something only rich people had. I knew they were expensive and the craftsmanship of all the ones I have seen was always amazing. Fast forward to adulthood for me and I knew I had to have one and luckily I found a company that handcrafts them online. You can actually get a nutcracker for as low as $35 and the prices go up depending on the size and detail.

I honestly poured all over the nutcrackers on the Erzgebirge website and decided that I am going to buy myself one every year and I am going to start that tradition for my own kids.

So which nutcracker did I choose?

I chose the 15-inch tall German Nutcracker Grenadier. I love his white-painted suit, strap with rifle and even tassel on his hat. The detail is amazing with the paint and wooden craftsmanship. At just over $100 it seems like a steal to me. I have him proudly displayed on a shelf with my Christmas decorations, but really he is stealing the spotlight over there! I know too I will receive compliments this Christmas when we have guests over, I mean how could people not smile when they see his face.

The products are high-quality decorative products from Germany and only from manufacturers who hold special certifications that guarantee quality. Each and every one different in their own design. There are ones for all different holidays and different colors.

Can he be used as an actual nutcracker? Yep but repeated use may chip the paint so I am choosing to use him strictly as decoration.

Seriously these nutcrackers are amazing and I am so happy to finally have one. They are well worth the money to own a piece that will be proudly displayed and handed down through generations.
