5 Great American Cities to Visit this Winter

Now of course we have to start this post just like every other travel post get’s started these days, but do bear with us:

Before embarking on any travel or journey, please check with your local authorities about state or national Covid restrictions and remember to pack wisely and have the best time ever!

That’s right America, while it may be a little harder to travel abroad this season, travel in the good old United States is still on the cards and if are thinking about getting in a last-minute vacation this season, we’ve found 5 of the top winter destinations in America, just for you.

So, buckle up, drive safe (or fly safely for that matter) and let’s get cracking!

NEW YORK, NEW YORK

Nothing says New Year’s Eve, quite like New York City, and let’s face it, the cities claim as being the capital city of the world, does hold some merit. In the winter, New York comes alive in a completely different way to the summer months and you’ll discover a new side to the city if you’ve never been there in the winter. Outdoors ice skating, fabulous fashion, and the urban jungle all dressed up in holiday lights!

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

If it’s non-stop action you’re looking for, but the icy weather of New York is not your thing – then a visit to America’s original city of sin could be the place for you. Loaded with options for couples, solo travelers, and families alike, Las Vegas still packs a punch, and you’ll enjoy much better weather than in some of the other cities on this list.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA

Between fine football, awesome music, fantastic people, and a great climate there are still yet more reasons to put Atlanta on your wedding getaway list.

You’ll find hotels in Atlanta with jacuzzi suites to amp up your romantic getaway and also wonderful daytime, and nighttime activities and is not nearly as expensive as places like New York or Los Angeles.

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH

Fabulous skiing, some of the friendliest people on the planet, awesome restaurants, world-class hotels, and a charmingly authentic American experience await the visitor to SLC. But, the #1 reason to visit Utah in the winter, must be skiing. There are no fewer than 11 ski resorts less than an hour away from SLC to cater to every ability, every budget, and every taste. SLC is also very child friendly making family breaks ideal and relatively inexpensive compared to some other American cities.

KEY WEST, FLORIDA

Technically not a city, but we couldn’t have this list without Key West on it. For those who simply have to get away from anything less than 50 degrees, Key West offers sun, sand, and sea at a time of the year when most Americans are left shivering under their blankets. Amazing food, an awesome climate, and some of the most mind-bogglingly beautiful sunsets anywhere in the world will leave you feeling like you made the right decision.

However you choose to spend it, we hope you have a fabulous season, a safe holiday and an awesome new year!
