UAE vacation with children in 2022

Heat, marvelous white sand, the sea, and, most all, top-notch safety… This all is about the United Arab Emirates.

It’s really cool here, especially considering that a lot of things in the Emirates are with the prefix “the most”. But without planning, a holiday with children here can turn out to be a disaster. Let’s not lie, even with planning, you will still want to rest for at least a day. There is a solution – body massage in Dubai. Thanks to the massage, you will not only get rid of swelling due to the heat but also spend the parental day in zen. Massage is a great way to relax and clear your mind.

To the Emirates with children: when and where is it better to go?

Choosing the best time

The United Arab Emirates is, in fact, a desert. It has been modernized, but the air outside of the beaches and air-conditioned hotels is dry, in the afternoon temperature soars to +43°C. This should be considered while arranging a trip with children.

When is the best time to visit the UAE? A comfortable beach holiday begins in September (even in its middle). The thermometer mark rarely reaches more than + 39⁰С. The sea brings relief from October: the water is +27⁰С, the best temperature to refresh but not to freeze. Such a great time ends in November, but the cycle repeats itself in April-May.

Why with kids?

Emirates is a beach destination. People come here for the sun, warm sea and service. But here are some more pros of traveling here with children.

  • Kids-friendly environment: elevators, convenient ramps, and sidewalks. Parents of toddlers traveling in wheelchairs will appreciate it.
  • Cleanliness. You can eat from the floor – this is just about the UAE (well, it’s a joke, don’t eat from the floor).
  • The presence of a “full set” of children’s resort entertainment: water parks, attractions, aquariums, zoos, and other leisure activities. Great emotions are guaranteed.
  • A relatively short flight.

The best resorts in the UAE for families with children

Resorts where it is better to relax in the UAE with children include:

#1. DUBAI is a child-friendly city. However, it’s not very friendly to the parents’ funds. The beaches in Dubai are sandy. They’re also free, lovely, clean, and have blue water. Living in the Dubai Marina neighborhood is a dream come true for both children and parents. A fantastic beach, several playgrounds, a supermarket, pharmacies, and cafés are all nearby, and the views when the skyscrapers are lit up in the evening are spectacular!

#2. ABU DHABI is the country’s formal capital, but it’s not the best spot to visit with a child in the UAE: sure, there are many beaches with coral sand, a Ferrari park, a water park, and other entertainment all in one location. There’s no place to swim, though! Only a few hotels are located on the beach. It’s worthwhile to visit Abu Dhabi for a day or two, go for a walk, and take in the local entertainment industry’s triumphs.

A few family-friendly fun and learning activities you can enjoy with your kids in the capital
include:

● Visit the Qasr Al Watan Library in Abu Dhabi to explore the rich culture and history of the UAE. It houses an extensive collection of books in many fields, such as history, geography, and science and more collected over 35 years. While at Qasr Al Watan, don’t miss the Palace in Motion, a three-act light and sound show that celebrates the country’s journey, happening every 30 minutes after sundown in front of the main palace.

● Scale new heights at Clymb Abu Dhabi, an adventure hub featuring the world’s biggest flight chamber and tallest indoor climbing wall. Here, guests of all ages, from as young as three years old, can get a taste of rock climbing and skydiving under the supervision of trained instructors. So, be it birthday celebrations, a family day out, school trips or team-building activities in Abu Dhabi, CLYMB offers everyone a memorable experience.

● Learn about marine life conservation at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. Apart from being a world- class marine animal theme park, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is home to the Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center, a dedicated research and conservation facility. The center provides educational programs and learning experiences where children can discover the diverse marine life in the Arabian Gulf and the importance of preserving it for future generations.

#3. SHARJAH and AJMAN, which are only 10 kilometers apart, are in a highly handy location: they are only 30 kilometers from Dubai and have substantially lower living costs.

#4. UMM AL QUWAIN is one of the UAE’s few resorts where you can experience the authentic, laid-back Arab way of life. There are fewer skyscrapers, and life in the old city is seething. Is it, however, required when traveling with a child?

#5 FUJAIRAH is situated on the Arabian Sea’s coastline and boasts a fascinating underwater environment. The resort is now under construction, which detracts from the idyllic vision of a relaxed holiday.

And finally, the universal advice: understanding what you want from your vacation (water parks and attractions, quiet walks, malls, and excursions) will help you decide on the place of residence and time for the flight. The best holiday with children in the UAE is a pre-planned holiday!
