Great Side Hustle Ideas That Will Get The Cash Flowing

You might be feeling the pinch a little bit with the cost of living going up but salaries remaining pretty much the same. This can be a common occurrence and your nine to five just isn’t giving you what you need. It’s time to think of a side hustle that you can do around your full-time job. There are so many options and you could even turn a much-loved hobby into a chargeable side hustle. Something along the lines of photography or art for example. Take a look below for some other side hustle ideas that might float your boat.

Pet Sitting

There will always be animals that need to be looked after, this may be due to their owners working during the day/night or being away on holiday. You could set up a schedule where you are available so the owners are aware of this and can message you. There are also pet owner websites where sitters can register their details.

Pets can be like children to some people so they need to know their animals are in good hands. It would help to have some references that you can share with pet owners proving you are great with pets. Unless of course, you are a vet or veterinary nurse, then your qualifications will speak for themselves.

Freelance

Another great idea for a side hustle is a freelancing position. There are tons of jobs in the freelancing world, from accounting to writing for blog sites. The good thing about freelance is that you can set your own hours and work whenever you want. If you finish work at 5, then you could come home and chill for a couple of hours before getting down to business again.

There are sites online where businesses request what they need. You can then message them offering your skills and then come to a mutual agreement on fees and the time it will take to complete. Even if you are on holiday or away from home you can still manage your freelancing side hustle. You can do it anywhere in the world.

Investing

Something else that could make you a bit of cash on the side is investing. Now, when it comes to investing there are different options for you to choose from. You don’t even need to stick with just one, you can decide on a couple of choices. The first one, which may be more of a full-time job but is possible as a side hustle is property investment. This is where you purchase a property, do it up inside and out, then sell it on to make a tidy profit, or you can rent it out so you have a steady stream of cash each month.

Another thing you can invest in is gold online or cryptocurrency. This is ever-changing and fluctuates between high amounts and lower amounts. If you do decide to invest in this type of side hustle then you could end up losing a big chunk of money. If you look into the risks involved before investing then you will have a greater understanding of how it all works.

Tutoring

If you have a natural talent when it comes to working with children you could look into various side hustles that involve this. One example is tutoring, a lot of parents want their children to catch up on the missed work due to various lockdowns. If you take a look online or register your interest with different online companies then you could get a lot of bookings in your free time. You can also choose which age groups to work with, you can say primary or secondary if you prefer.

Another side hustle you could get into is offering your childcare skills for babysitting jobs in your local area. Babysitting can make you good money if you get enough bookings. Let people in your neighborhood know that you are interested in babysitting and attach your contact information. There are also online sites that you can sign up for and find local parents needing childcare yourself. A lot of the time you need to subscribe which will involve an initial payout.

Making & Selling

Finally, if you enjoy making things then you could sell these online or at local craft fairs. There has always been much love for personalized homemade items. People are always on the lookout for these to give as gifts and presents to their loved ones. With a side hustle like this, you could be making money all year round. You can advertise your services on social media for free and your friends can share the information. Even better, if you decide to include postage options as you will get orders from further afield.
