Throughout my schooling, I used flashcards, both ones I bought and made on index cards. I am a visual learner and something about writing, tracing, and seeing words made it easier for me to learn different topics. When my kids were young, I bought them flashcards but they were flimsy and there were not many options available. Nowadays there are so many choices but it can be overwhelming on which ones to buy. Recently I was asked by a friend about some suggestions for her preschooler to get ready for kindergarten. Having older kids now I did some research online and looked for what I’d want in a learning tool for my own kids.

I came across The Bambino Tree Store on Amazon and they have some amazing flashcards to choose from. Kids can start out with the Phonics Learn to Read flashcards and go up from there.
