I received two complimentary tickets and paid for the rest for my family in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
The Tommy Bartlett Exploratory is a hidden exhibit center located next to the Tommy Bartlett show. I say hidden because so many people don’t seem to know about it, but it is actually one that I remember going to as a child. I recently took my own family there before we headed to see the Tommy Bartlett show.
First, off I will say the Tommy Bartlett Exploratory is a little cheesy looking when you first walk in. Some of the exhibits seem old but when then there are newer looking ones as well. Inside it reminds me of a children’s museum, with tons of different hands-on exhibits that scream for kids to play with them. 175 interactive activities to be exact. They are all fun yet educational.
It is a perfect place to pop in and to explore. It also is a place that keeps on going once your inside. Room to room, floor to floor there is so much inside to explore that even for the 2 hours we were there I know we missed things. The Tommy Bartlett Exploratory is also the only place on Earth where you can see, feel and experience an authentic Russian Space Station MIR core module. So if you have a space lover in your family, you should definitely stop here!
Here are some pictures from inside to give you a feel of whats included:
