MyPoints: Clicking for points

I have been a member of MyPoints since 9/1998 and have earned 45,750 points so far. Nowadays I don’t do much anymore other than click the links in the emails they send me for 5-10 points each or take the occasional survey for 50 points. Basically so far I have earned about (14) $25 various gift cards which equal $351! There was also a few years in the middle when I was in college that I really did not even bother with MyPoints at all. MyPoints also has so many potential earning opportunities if you are really into signing up for trials, offers, or shopping online.

If you are just clicking emails you can earn gift card rewards it will just take longer, but who cares as it is free money for taking a few seconds to click a link in an email! You can also redeem points for smaller $10 gift cards but obviously if you save up for the higher denomination gift cards you will get higher gift cards for less points. Every year I save up all my points and redeem at Christmastime for gift cards for Christmas presents. It is a nice bonus and they have gift cards to everywhere. The gift cards come in about 2 weeks so its not like you are waiting forever for your rewards.
