"Battle of the Bulge:" Invisibelt Review

It has been 8 months since I had my youngest and I still have baby weight to loose. I feel like it is just a loosing battle but I am trying! Now even though I still have that baby pouch I am constantly wearing a belt because I am in between sizes. Actually I pretty always wear a belt anyways just out of habit. Well lately I have been fighting the “Battle of the Bulge” as I call it. By bulge I mean belt buckle.

When I first took the Invisibelt out of the package I was kinda surprised at its material at thought that I would not like it. The belt is made of a plastic that is somewhat hard and reminded me of a mini-blind, but once I adjusted it and looped it through my jeans I was shocked. Once the belt was on, it was completely comfortable and I forgot I was even wearing it. There was no belt buckle digging into my stomach and I could be comfortable that my butt was not showing in the back when I bent over! I highly recommend the Invisibelt and I am not one to really buy accessories but the Invisibelt really works and made me more confident in my appearance.

It seems that with every shirt or sweater I wear, I have a belt buckle bulge which of course makes me look and feel bigger than I am! I have never been a “tuck in your shirt” kind of girl and since I had my two boys I really don’t want to wear shirts where my belt buckle will show. So to conquer my battle, I came across the Invisibelt! I absolutely love this belt and it really does make me feel better about my appearance.

So how does Invisibelt work? Well it has a flat buckle in the front for starters. Next there is an adjustable band that is practically flat also and goes on the side or back depending on how much you need to adjust it. Adjusting it is similar to adjusting your bra strap and really once you adjust it you shouldn’t have to keep adjusting it.

To give you a breakdown here are some features of the Invisibelt:

  • Virtually undetectable and therefore provides a slimming effect since you are not seeing the bulging belt buckle.
  • Allows you to wear a fitted top showing a nice smooth fit.
  • The belt is adjustable from sizes 0-14 and there is also a plus size version that fits up to 4X. To put it more in perspective, the original Invisibelt extends to 44” in length; the width is 1.25” and the plus-size Invisibelt extends to 54” in length; the width is 1.25”. They are available in Naked (clear) and Noir (black). I have the clear one since it will blend in and go with anything!
  • Since it is plastic, it is one less thing to take off at the airport if you are a frequent traveler!

If you are still curious about the belt, you can actually watch the creator speak and use the belt in this video. This belt has also been featured on numerous television shows, magazines, and web sites. Each color belt retails for $19.95 or you can purchase them both for $34.95. There are a few retail locations which you can check here at the website or you can purchase directly through the Invisibelt website. Hopefully there is a retail location nearby and you can avoid shipping costs, but either way it is still worth it! So if you are “Battling the Bulge” then look no further and check out the Invisibelt.

  • I would have taken a picture from the back but you probably don't want to see my butt! It really is though a nice belt and definitely my favorite!

  • I was just complaining to a friend that my pants always gap at the back. I would LOVE to try one of these!
