Cool Mom Site to check out!

So if you are not really into MySpace or Facebook or any of the other million social media sites or if you are just a total social butterfly then CafeMom is perfect for you! Now you don’t have to be a big contributor to enjoy CafeMom and you can be member for FREE! Yes CafeMom is a social site set up for moms where you have your own page (your profile) and you then join groups and make friends! It is all very easy and I love all the posts and groups that are availbale. I belong to a bunch involving Giveaways, Contests, 2007 Babies, All about Toddlers, Freebie Finders, Chicago Moms, I want to work at Home, June 2008 Babies…Yes there is a group for everyone and you can even start your own group. (There are actually more than 60,000 groups and you can join as many as you want!)

Once you join some groups you can then set it up so you get emails when people write posts and then just click on one if you want to read it. There are also groups pertaining to your child’s actual school, which you can look up to see if it is available. I don’t have kids in school yet but I walked my mom through setting this up and she was excited to join the group for the school where my brother and sister go. She was then able to network with the other moms!

Now I am really bad and I have not done really anything with my profile page, nor have I really contributed much to any of the groups other than to post my giveaways, but I have learned a lot and entered a lot of great giveaways!
