Banana Peels Diapers – Review & Giveaway! (Ends 3/31)

Through my research, I have come across an awesome site called “Banana Peels Diapers.” Banana Peels Diapers has everything and anything related to caring for your baby including: cloth diapers, clothing, organic products, baby wearing and so much more! Really there is so much to look at and the website is so easy to maneuver and has awesome pictures of everything. They carry such a large selection from all the favorite brands we have grown to love!

The best part of the website though is the product learning section where it includes links for calculating the cost of using cloth vs. disposable, 10 Great Reasons to use Cloth Diapers, other web site links, and a diaper dictionary. So anyways back to cloth diapers. So Heather from Banana Peels Diapers was nice enough to send me one of their Bum Genius 3.0 One-Size diapers and I love it. I have never ever tried a cloth diaper before and even though I know they have come a long way, I still think of my mom using them on my brothers and poking them with the pins. Well no more, these nifty diapers have snaps and Velcro in all the right places! Oh and did I mention that cloth diapers come in a huge variety of colors and patterns. I mean now a cloth diaper is like an accessory, how cute is that!

Now I am bias when it comes to cloth diapers since I have nothing to compare the Bum Genius to, but I love it. It was so easy to use, even my husband figured it out! A waterproof outer with elastic in all the right spots and a super soft lining, made this diaper fit both boys comfortably. I could see this diaper too being great for when one of them has diaper rash since it is not itchy or scratchy. The best part is that it fits from 8-35 lbs. so both of my sons can wear the same ones. I only have one so I do have to wash it a lot as both boys are big wetters but so far no leakage. They did have more padding to them then disposable diapers but that was okay for us since Aidan has no butt so this diaper actually helped keep his pants up! It was also nice since we are trying to potty train and it was closer to big boy underwear than a disposable diaper is.
