Bath Luve Review – Yeah for tub time!

As a mom of two boys, I remember bathing them when they were infants and how hard and scary it was. I was afraid of dropping them, as they get so slippery, afraid of them catching cold, and finally I worried about being sprayed (if you know what I mean!) Well one thing I love to do is search around the Internet, and I happened to come across the company, Bath Luve.

A mom from Wisconsin, Amy, who was looking for a way to give her son a more calming and safe experience, founded Bath Luve. For some reason I really love products made by moms because I know that they invented them to make life easier and I am all about that. Bath Luve is made of 100% cotton materials and feels like a washcloth. I was lucky enough to receive the Duck Bath Luve to review and it is awesome! The duck measures 17 inches total so it definitely covers a good portion of most children and you use it’s feet to attach over your baby’s shoulders so it stays.

Why did I love this so much? Well bathtime for us is crazy first of all as we have an 8 month old and a 26 month old. It is easier to bath them at the same time for us and we have a super tiny bathroom. So my husband and I each take a kid and squeeze into the bathroom. It will be much easier when Gavin can sit up and play with Aidan and we don’t have to hold Gavin, but for now we have Bath Luve. We put Gavin in a tub seat and hang the Bath Luve over his front at first and then like a cape in back. What you do is soak the Bath Luve in some warm water and then when you place it on your child it gives them that warm and snuggly feeling.

The first bath we used it on Gavin with, he smiled. He definitely knew something was different and he didn’t cry because he was cold. Now as I said Gavin is 8 months, but for a newborn baby this is a must have. I remember him crying and shivering and barely washed him because I wanted to bundle him back in a towel and hold him. As the first mom in my group to have kids, I can’t wait to get all of our friends Bath Luve’s when they start having babies.

Other than the duck, the Bath Luve also comes in a fish and frog design. Oh and Bath Luve also makes super cute matching Bath Luve Buddies. They are like stuffed washcloth characters that you use to continue to add water to the Bath Luve like a sponge. Then when your child gets bigger it is a great toy and sponge washcloth for washing your child. Also, Bath Luve is introduces soft-hooded terry towels and matching washcloths.

Think this would be a perfect give for someone or even for your own child?! Well the best part is, Bath Luve is sold at Kohls and Babies R Us, amongst many other locations and of course at the Bath Luve’s website. And I don’t know about you but I am probably at Kohls or Babies R Us every few days! Did I mention they only cost between $6-$10! I think that is an awesome price for this super cute washcloth that has made bath time more enjoyable for both Gavin and I! Oh and Aidan got jealous because Gavin had something that he didn’t have so I will be going out and getting Aidan his own to play with and hold!
