Here are reasons to love Michael Season’s:
When I started comparing the Michael Season’s chips to other brands, I was amazed. The chips are so light and non-greasy, and yet they taste good! So when I received ten bags from them to check out, I was beyond thrilled! I had not tried all the different flavors, and it definitely is hard to pick a favorite.
Michael Season’s vs. Other brands:
Now I am not one to worry about gluten, wheat, or preservatives but the “all natural” is really what drew me to these chips. I love that they contain ingredients like actual potatoes, sunflower oil, real cheese, rice flour, and more. Nothing I could not pronounce but still with all the taste I love. I still cannot believe how low in fat these are compared to my usual brands, but since eating them I have definitely learned to appreciate snacking and don’t feel so blah after munching. All of the snacks I tried were big in size and flavor, which surprised me. I just loved though how light they were and they actually had flavor as a lot of low fat items (at least for me) tastes like cardboard. All their snacks tasted like regular brands, but were just healthier and tastier!
So onto the flavors I got to check out:
My thoughts on them? I loved them all, but my favorite was probably the Baked Sweet Barbecue Potato Crisps or Baked Cheese Curls – Cheddar. The barbecue flavoring was so rich and sweet and the cheese on the curls was like creamy and fresh as they use real cheese! I even enjoyed the multigrain chips even though I normally don’t even that kind. My 2 year loved them because of the waves and textures! Not that I want my 2 year old eating chips, but since he does I am glad he likes these healthier versions! All of the flavors I tried really did surpass my favorite brands, which really surprised me since they are healthier! I just could not believe they didn’t taste bland, they actually had spices and taste!
Still with their motto of “better for you” snack product; Michael Seasons has continued to provide an exceptional product at affordable prices. An average bag is right around $3, which is what you pay for most chips anyways! What is awesome too is that Michael Season’s guarantees the freshness of every bag and if you are not satisfied you can send them your empty bag and comments.
You can find Michael Season’s at Whole Foods Market, Kroger, Safeway, Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc. (Pick ‘N Save, Copps, Rainbow Foods) and Publix. Also, You can of course purchase these snack products online at Michael Season’s and I have a coupon for you for 10% Michael Season’s Baked product lines to use online (Expires 12/31/09.)
