Is your Internet slow?

If you live in the St. Louis area, boy are you lucky. Charter’s Ultra60 Mbps service is the fastest Internet speed in St. Louis and is currently one of the fastest in the U.S. This new high-speed connection is being rolled out in other areas throughout 2009, but for now it is available in St. Louis. Charter has released this service in order to provide their customers with the fastest Internet speed available at a time when a high-speed connection is a must.

So what is all these speed good for? Well Ultra60 will allow multi-tasking, without slow speeds and all the crashes. Gaming, movies, telecommuting with mega-files and much more will be drastically improved. The Ultra60 Mbps service is the first of the Phatband speeds that Charter is rolling out to take broadband to the next level. Charter claims that its new PhatBand connection will turn DSL into the new dial-up Internet service. Yeah it is that fast!

I am interested in this mainly because of the multi-tasking and usually I have a million windows open at a time and I am clicking and linking everywhere. My husband is not a gamer, but hardcore web gamers will love the PhatBand’s ability to download patches in record time and virtually eliminate lag in game playing. I know I have heard my brother claiming about how slow his games are, and he has a new computer! So whether you live in St. Louis or not, definitely check it out or wait for it to come to an area by you.
