Finding ways to entertain your kids can be a challenge. I know I am desperately looking for new ways to keep my little guys busy and they are still young, 12 months and 28 months! I can’t even imagine how challenging it is to keep older kids busy who can talk and whine! My boys don’t know the difference and they are happy now with simple things, but I know that will change!
ParentsConnect.com has a neat widget tool that helps parents discover what fun events and activities are available near them. You can search by City, State, or zip so you can not only find events nearby you but also where you are going to be vacationing or visiting. I have my widget on the bottom right of my blog. I check it out every few days just to see what new events are up and available!
There is also a contest going on where the person who’s widget gets the most views wins $1000! So if you have a blog, social networking profile, or other website, you should check out adding the ParentsConnect.com widget. It can’t hurt and it really does feature fun events, both free and ones that cost money. Who knows you may find yourself using it and finding new places to take your kids!
