When I was pregnant, I had to have every Baby Einstein video there was, I wasn’t sure why but it was a necessity. I used to play them for my son all the time and he liked them but honestly I was not a big fan. Well my opinion has since changed when I received the new Baby Einstein: World Animal Adventure DVD.
The World Animal Adventure DVD has cartoon-like animals and real animals throughout the 35-minute program and me and my sons love it! There is even fun music and animal sounds throughout the video and also a person saying the animal names and showing the spelling on the screen. I also know this DVD is a hit when my 15-month old who normally could care less about TV is absolutely captivated by the animals. We have been watching this DVD every other night so when we go to the zoo next month, I hope that both my 32 month old and 15 month old will be more excited about the real-life animals.
The animals on the DVD are from the seven continents and are exotic like Asian pandas and Australian kangaroos and then you of course see Zebras, Lions, and Giraffe (or should I say Marty, Alex, and Melman for those who are Madagascar fans!) You get to see the animals filmed in their natural habitats which is a great teaching tool too I think! My youngest actually loved the puppet skits the best, and cracks up every time he sees the zebras!
Now even though the DVD is short, there are Bonus Features, a Select-A-Segment and new ways to watch with Grow With Me!
