Livie and Luca Shoes Review & Giveaway (Ends 10/9)

Even though I have boys, I still try to find adorable shoes for my little guys. I am also constantly checking out new shoe companies for new designs and unique styles. Well Livie and Luca is one company that has not let me down.

Livie and Luca sent me two pairs of shoes, one for each of my boys and so far I have received numerous compliments on each! They are definitely different shoes and not typical styles that other kids have. I love though that they are lightweight and aren’t bulky on my sons feet. It is always hard to know if the shoes fit them good because neither of my sons talk so but since they aren’t complaining or trying to rip the shoes off, I figure they like them!

Aidan received a pair of London Boots in black. Now he has only worn these few times, since he has mainly been wearing sandals, but he seems to enjoy the feel. I love that they Velcro quickly and the Velcro actually latches tight and is not cheap. The front of the shoe also bows up a little which is perfect for Aidan since he tends to drag his feet and ruin that part of his shoes but he can’t easily ruin these shoes! The soles are a durable rubber so I know his feet are protected and I love that they are boot-style so they give his ankle support too!

Gavin received the Brown Elephant shoes, which are basically sandals, but with socks and a pair of jeans they work too! Again these shoes have a Velcro closure and it is tight and grips well. Since Gavin is still new too walking (he has been walking for around 3 months now) I love that the soles give him great support and he seems to be walking great in these shoes. The only flaw I have seen in these shoes are that Gavin was able to rip out the soles easily and rip them into pieces so he lost some of the comfortable padding but he doesn’t seem to mind.

Overall, I am impressed with the quality of the two pairs of Livie and Luca shoes I received. They are a little bit more than I typically spend on kid shoes, but the quality speaks for themselves. I love that they are both high quality leather and such funky styles. It is also nice to know that they were handmade and not pressed through a machine. Oh and did I mention the company is made up of three moms that were looking for high quality shoes for their own kids!
