Fisher Price is a company that I loved as a child and now I buy their products for my children. Their toys are fun, educational, and they are always coming out with something new! What is nice about Fisher Price toys is that they categorize each toy into collections and put appropriate age limits on them too.
From Fisher Price:
There’s nothing like having a friend you can rely on—especially when you’re learning to walk! The Go Baby Go!™ Stride-to-Ride™ Lion is ready to steady baby’s first steps, encouraging progress with rewarding lights, sounds, and upbeat music. Once walking is a sure thing, toddlers can hop on the lion’s back and ride all around for a roaring good time. Designed with a wide wheelbase for sturdy support when baby is learning how to walk or enjoying a ride! With on/off switch plus volume control for quiet play. Requires 3 “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included).
So when we tried out the Stride-to-Ride Lion I new it would be a hit. The Lion is for ages 9-36 months and converts from a push toy to a ride on toy. Now we have had toys like this before, but what makes the Lion stand out is that it rewards movements and progress with lights, sounds, and upbeat music. I love that it has a on/off switch and a volume control button.
From Fisher Price:
Welcome to the farm, where animal friends are ready to play—and learning fun is all around! The magic starts when baby opens the gate and crawls through, triggering sing-along songs, dancing lights, music, sounds and fun phrases. There are veggie shapes to sort, chicken eggs to count, plus lots of put-and-take, flipping, spinning, pressing, sliding and turning discoveries to make. And both sides have a full crop of busy activities! Requires 3 AA batteries.
Designed for ages 6-36 months, both of my boys love this toy. It is just too adorable not to love and since my sons are animal lovers, this toy is extra special for them. I love that it has so many buttons, activities, gadgets, and since it’s double sided it offers plenty of room for both to play. I was honestly impressed with how this toy entertained my sons and I appreciated that it only took 3 AA batteries instead of a million C or D batteries. The Farm also offers 3 interactive modes: Learning Time, Music Time, and Imagination. This toy is definitely going to stay a favorite for awhile and since it has a carrying handle I can carry it to whatever room I need to!
Overall, I have always been pleased with Fisher Price and these two toys did not disappoint. I definitely recommend either (or both) of these toys for Christmas and I am sure there will some great sales on both too!
