DVD Review & Giveaway: "Let’s Grow: Lend a Helping Hand" (Ends 2/15)

Thanks to HIT Entertainment and Sprout, a new DVD line has been released that is just for preschoolers and their parents. If you are not familiar with Sprout, it is the first 24-hour channel available on TV, on-demand, and online. Well the all-new series, titled “Let’s Grow,” focuses on life skills and lessons for preschoolers ages 2-5 years old.

Each DVD in the “Let’s Grow” series is uniquely themed and the content of each episode will focus on areas such as safety, expressing feelings, manners, and other important preschool developments. The “Let’s Grow” series will include episodes starring all your child’s favorite characters from HIT entertainment’s library of programs, including Barney, Bob the Builder, Thomas & Friends, and more! The episodes will flow together by live action segments featuring hosts from Sprout’s original Sunny Side Up Show, along with Chica the Chicken puppet!

The first DVD in the series is “Let’s Grow: Lend a Helping Hand.” It is a dvd emphasizing the importance of working together to keep things clean. There are five episodes on this DVD and I love how Aidan is hopefully going to start to understand how to help out since he is watching his favorite characters doing it. I hope he will mimic what they are doing! So far he is just super excited to watch the episodes and I don’t think he realizes there is an underlaying message being sent! I love how colorful and animated this 68 minute DVD is. There is even Fireman Sam on the DVD that slips in some fire safety!
