Technology is a great way for family’s to catch up and communicate in today’s fast paced society. I actually find myself emailing especially my parents and in-laws with short questions or notes about our kids, rather than calling them all the time. Now I know face-to-face time is important as well as talking on the phone, but with different schedules, home locations, and other obligations, it can be hard to keep up with your family.
Well there is a new website called Family Details that allows you to create a Family Website for FREE! You can share photos and videos, chat with your family from the browser, view a family calendar (so you don’t miss a birthday), share files, post news, create polls, and much more! Now with the Free package you do have a few limitations, but the basics are there and the website it pretty neat. I found though that I was fine with the free package and maybe if I find my family really using the website more I will upgrade but for now we are all learning together how to use the website.
Overall though, FamilyDetails.com is the perfect way for families to communicate and share in a private online family website.
