Moms Wear Your Tees Review (promote your website!)

I have come a long way since starting my lonely blog in August 2008. I had no clue what I was doing, nor did I know how to “market” my blog. I checked out other blogs that had Followers, Subscribers, Facebook Fans, and I was jealous! I started working my butt off trying to network and get my blog name out there as much as I could, but there is only so much time in the day! I still have two sons to take care of, tons of housework, and everything else that I need to squeeze in, so I didn’t have a lot of time. I have done pretty well though (it did not come easy) and now that I am swamped with product reviews, giveaways, and just blogging, I find that I don’t have time to really market myself to attract new readers. Don’t get me wrong, I love all my readers now, but I of course want to reach as many people as I can!

A company called Moms Wear Your Tees, founded by Scarlet Paolicchi, uses Social Media Marketing to promote websites for businesses and even mom bloggers!  She works on driving targeted traffic to websites and uses search engine optimization.

Here is what is done for you:

• First, a write-up is posted on the Moms Wear Your Tees Blog with a website link.
• Next, she will post on Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, Yahoo Groups and Cafémom groups about your company, website, and/or products and provide links.
• You also get a permanent link along with your logo on their client pages.

The whole Social Media package costs $40, which is not bad if you don’t have time to market yourself or have the expertise.  Moms Wear Your Tees is also established with 3750+ Twitter followers, 260+ Facebook followers, about 425+ blog followers and is growing rapidly (Moms Wear Your Tees just opened for business January 1, 2010).  The blog iso far is getting about 1750 visits per week.  Their goal is to boost your search engine standing and just get your name and link out there.

I had the chance to have Moms Wear Your Tees post about me, see post HERE.  Now obviously I don’t know how much it helped or if I received visits due to it, but it didn’t hurt my site.  Having links out there to my site is always a good thing and I am super appreciative of Moms Wear Your Tees.  Oh and by the way if you are wondering about the name, the company will also wear a tee with your logo if you send them one and post pictures of running errands wearing it!  Overall, you have decide if this is something to invest in, but it is definitely a unique service and doesn’t hurt!
